c3 is a personal desktop app for Matthew McGivney. It pulls his Gmail into one local inbox so he can read, search, archive, mark spam, and reply without opening Gmail.
The app runs on his Mac. Message data stays there. c3 is not a service for other people. This page is the public description of the app.
What the Gmail connection does
- Reads mail from a Gmail account he connects.
- Shows it in the c3 inbox on his Mac, with search.
- Applies the actions he takes: archive, mark read, mark spam, and send a reply when sending is turned on for that account.
The permission requested is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify. What c3 does with that data is in the privacy policy.
